About String Master

As a failed squash player, I was always destined for mediocrity!  Attempts at badminton and tennis were equally futile.  After 30 years of racket sports, I thought that maybe it was time for me to help others make the most of their talents instead.

It's said that 40% of what you do with your racket is down to the strings.  Remember, the only thing that's ever in contact with the ball/shuttle is the strings so, if your game's worth improving, don't scrimp when it comes to the string.  The difference in cost between a cheap string and a really good one can be the cost of a pint of beer so, next time you play, have one less for the road in the bar afterwards and get yourself some decent string!

Good stringing helps, of course.  As a UKRSA qualified stringer and trained personally by Liam Nolan, Technical Director of UKRSA, I can string your racket properly, the same way that Mr Federer's racket gets strung.  Now just knowing that's worth a 10% improvement in your game, isn't it?!
