Need a restring?  Great, but have you thought about your game at all?  How is it?  Are you all about power?   Couldn't play a drop shot if you tried?  What do you want from your game?

It's reckoned that the strings account for about 40% of what happens when you're out there.  That makes sense when you realise that the only thing in contact with the ball/shuttlecock is what's in the stringbed.  A good restring can really help your game.  Maybe you just have tired, old strings that just feel "dead".  Are you still using that racket that was in the back of the wardrobe for 20 years with the same strings still in place?!  Freshen the strings to freshen your game.

So, let's talk about strings.  What can we offer?  Is it worth spending more, can we get something exotic in stock because you've seen it being used by someone you admire?  Do you break strings often?  Too often?  What about injury management?  Can the strings help there?

Are you feeling the tension?  Do you need more "boing" when you're playing?  Don't we all, but this is about your racket, not your knees.  More tension, more control.  Less tension, more power.  You thought it was the other way round, didn't you?  Most people do.  That's why we discuss it with you first.

Gripping Service - nice to have new strings but if you don't have good contact with the racket, you'll struggle to get the best from them.  A fresh grip not only stops the racket slipping in your hands, it makes for cleaner and more reliable hitting.  We can advise on grips, overgrips, grip size etc.

What else?  Does the racket have an annoying rattle like there's a grommet loose or something inside the frame itself?  We can probably fix that.  Butt cap missing?  Yep, we can sort that for you too.  Wanting to increase the grip size without having lots of grips one on top of the other and losing the "50p" shape of the handle?  That's our thing, too.  Can the grommet strip be replaced to give an old racket a new lease of life?  That would mean you could keep that old favourite frame in use for even longer and not have to buy a new racket.  Just ask and we'll order one specifically for your racket.
